Mikey Robe
The robe outfit for Mikey was one of the first complex rigs that I had to figure out.
- I created sliders on the bottom controls, so that the animator can adjust how much the bottom of the robe will follow the movement of the legs.
- For the sleeves, I added a slider to adjust the weight for following the twisting of the wrist.
Props
I was tasked with creating rigs for these 3 props: iPhone lanyard, card, and gift ribbon.
- For the iPhone lanyard, I created an IK spline system with tweak controls to be able to move the individual strings.
- For the card, I added several FK chains so the card is able to smoothly bend.
- Lastly, for the gift ribbon, I added a ribbon rig with some minor tweaks to get nice deformations.

Deformer
For this towel on the pool chair, I used a lattice deformer to give the animator control of the depression of the foot on the towel. This was used to get subtle movements for Mikey when he steps down onto the towel.

The pool chair also has controls for the props and pillow

Gala Outfits
I rigged 3 of the fancy outfits for Mikey, Cameron, and Sonia. Although the suits were similar to rig, Sonia's dress was a bit more complicated. In order to get a spread of controls on the long dress, I used a cloth rig with a surface and grid pattern of controls.
